Enjoy the benefits of membership with our club at the heart of our operation. This is open to anybody who holds an interest in aviation.
Over 100 years ago in November 1920, the Royal Aero Club of New South Wales was founded by the courageous aviators of the Australian Flying Corps upon their return from the Great War.
In 1926, we welcomed our first aircraft, the iconic De Havilland Moths marking the beginning of our journey. As the years passed our club's passion for aviation soared, leading us to outgrow our original home at Mascot. In 1949, we relocated to Bankstown and established ourselves as one of the largest and most vibrant flying clubs in the Commonwealth.
Today we cherish our rich aviation heritage while looking to the future with great enthusiasm as we shape the next generation of pilots, leaders, and aviators. As the Southern Hemisphere's largest volunteer-run and not-for-profit Part 141 Flight Training Organisation we are uniquely positioned to help you put wings on your dreams!
