Trial Introductory Flights

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a pilot, this is your chance to get started with a Trial Introductory Flight! A TIF gives you a genuine introduction to the joys of flying and is the first step in your aviation journey.
Choose from a range of flight training experiences that take you over some of the world’s most breathtaking scenery, these flights provide a taste of all aspects of flying meaning there’s an experience suitable for everybody.

What to expect
Our friendly staff will you in at a time and date convenient to you. On the day of your Trial Introductory Flight you can expect the following:
- Enjoy a thorough briefing from experienced instructors on arrival
- Take a look around the aeroplane and get strapped in ready to fly
- Take off and take the controls under the guidance of an instructor by your side
- Have a chat with our team about your flying goals and allow us to tailor a plan for you

Taster Trial Flight
From Camden you will head towards Warragamba Dam to learn the basics of flight with spectacular views of Lake Burragorang as your classroom.
Prices vary depending on aircraft type and start at $210 for this experience
Blue Mountains Trial Flight
From Camden you will head north-west and experience fantastic views of Katoomba and the Three Sisters while learning to fly the aircraft.
Prices vary depending on aircraft type and start at $300 for this experience.
Sydney Harbour Trial Flight
Our most scenic trial flight takes you to Cronulla, Bondi, Sydney Harbour, Northern Beaches, and Ku-Ring-Gai all while teaching you to fly.
Prices vary depending on aircraft type and start at $465 for this experience.
Once you’ve completed your TIF, you can continue your flying with self-paced training helping you achieve the following qualifications
Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL)
The RPL is the first step in your flying journey and allows you to carry passengers within 25 nautical miles from your departure airport.
Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
The PPL takes your skills to the next level, allowing your to fly anywhere within Australia and represents complete freedom to fly.
Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
The CPL allows you to take on paid flying work as a professional pilot and opens the door to countless possibilities for employment.
