The Royal Aero Club offers a comprehensive range of aviation services including joy flights, aerial work, and our flying school which trains the next generation of pilots, leaders, and aviators. By engaging in these activities all proceeds get reinvested to contribute to the growth of our organisation and the enhancement of our facilities for club members.

Our club boasts contemporary and open training facilities which are located within our friendly clubhouse all making for an ideal setting to meet fellow pilots, exchange stories and insights, and enjoy the unique club atmosphere . Additionally as a member you’ll have access to a vibrant calendar of club events, these include workshops dedicated to honing aviation skills, presentations from industry experts and aviation professionals, exciting club competition days, and fun flying outings. Our emphasis is on fostering a sense of enjoyment and adventure, offering new challenges and diverse experiences for students, license holders, and aviation enthusiasts alike.

This membership category is aimed towards the friends and family of Royal Aero Club members as well as non-flying aviation enthusiasts.
Social members are invited to take part in club activities and member events.
As a non-flying member however you won’t receive any discounted aircraft hire rates or flight training.
Discounted flying membership to for those starting or continuing their aviation journey.
Per Year
Concession membership is available to all Pensioner, Health, and Seniors Cardholders.
Veteran Membership is available to all DVA Veteran and APOD Cardholders.
Youth Membership is open to all individuals under the age of 18.
This category grants you the same rights and privileges as full members.
Flying membership for those wanting to take part in all aspects of the Royal Aero Club.

This is our most popular membership category and open to all individuals over the age of 18.
Full flying members also enjoy a range of benefits including discounted aircraft hire rates, aviation social activities and voting rights at our AGM.
This also entitles you to stand for election to the club committee.
Exclusive flying membership to celebrate the rich 100 year heritage of the Royal Aero Club.

Celebrate our 100 year anniversary, with these special centenary memberships.
Open to all individuals, these memberships grant you the same rights and privileges as full members.
You will be titled a “Centenary Member” and won’t be required to pay any further membership fees until 10 years from your date of joining.
